Ceramic Coating

Ceramic Coating

Years of gloss, not weeks of wax.

From $699

A ceramic coating is a liquid glass layer that bonds to your clear coat and hardens into a sacrificial shell. Water beads and runs off instead of sitting; bug splatter, bird droppings, and brake dust land on the coating rather than the paint. Washing gets faster, and the gloss stays deep for years rather than the six to eight weeks a wax survives.

We are an accredited installer for Feynlab and System X — two of the most respected coating brands made. Accreditation matters because a coating is only as good as the preparation beneath it. Sealing a swirled, contaminated finish locks the damage in for years, so every level below includes decontamination and surface prep before a drop of coating goes on.

Three levels separate on two variables only: how much paint correction happens first, and how long the coating lasts. Level 1 does no correction. Level 2 adds a one-step enhancement. Level 3 is a full multi-step correction under a five-to-seven-year coating.

How It Works

  1. 01

    Wash and decontaminate

Foam pre-wash, hand wash, then iron remover to dissolve embedded brake dust, and a clay bar to pull out what chemicals cannot.

  2. 02

    Correct the paint

Level 2 gets a one-step machine enhancement. Level 3 gets a multi-step correction. Level 1 skips this — the finish is already sound.

  3. 03

    Prep the surface

A panel wipe strips every trace of polishing oil. Any residue left here stops the coating bonding, so this step is never rushed.

  4. 04

    Apply and level the coating

The coating goes on panel by panel and is leveled by hand at the right moment. Glass, wheels, and exterior plastics get coated too.

  5. 05

    Cure

The coating hardens over the following hours. We tell you exactly when the car can get wet and how to wash it from then on.

Common Questions

How long does a ceramic coating last?+

It depends on the level. Level 1 protects for about a year, Level 2 for three years, and Level 3 for five to seven. Regular washing and no automatic-brush car washes are what carry a coating to the end of its rating.

Is a ceramic coating better than wax?+

For durability, yes — by years rather than weeks. Wax sits on the paint and washes away; a coating chemically bonds and resists heat, detergent, and UV. See our full ceramic coating vs wax comparison.

Does a coating prevent scratches and rock chips?+

No, and be careful of anyone who says otherwise. A coating resists light swirls from washing and stops chemical etching from bird droppings and bug guts. It will not stop a rock. Paint protection film is the product for impact.

Do I need paint correction before coating?+

If your paint has swirls or scratches, yes. A coating locks in whatever is under it for its full lifespan, so correcting first is the whole point of Levels 2 and 3.

How long does the appointment take?+

Level 1 is usually a full day. Level 2 runs one to two days, and Level 3 takes two or more, because multi-step correction is slow work. We confirm the timeline when you book.

How do I wash a coated car?+

Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap and two buckets, or a touchless wash. Never an automatic brush tunnel — those swirl the coating the same way they swirl bare paint.
